Zero Perm Mylar Foil provides an outstanding barrier that reduces water vapour transmission to practically zero. Aluminium foil has been laminated between 2 layers of polyester film, thus preventing the ingress of vapour moisture, salt spray, corrosion, oxidization, chemical reactions, oils, greases and other causticity damage. It is applicable as secondary vapour barrier to polyurethane, polyisocyanurate, phenolic, cellular glass, nitrile rubber, polystyrene but also can be used as primary vapour barrier under a protective jacketing for cryogenic, low temperature, cold storage, petrochemical projects and specialty industries including Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG), Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), ammonia, ethylene, butane, propane, methanol, etc. * It is also used as replacement for mastics, rubber sheeting, glass cloth or any other interior or exterior jacketing materials.
